CHERRIES
Orange is a fruit-growing region, particularly renowned for great cherries due to its high-altitude, cold winters, and mild summers and rich volcanic soils from nearby Mt Canobolas. Every season welcome visitors from all cultures and all countries of the world who travel to our orchard and share in the fun of picking cherries with family and friends.
When will the cherries be ready?
Cherries that were ready 14/11/25 have been PICKED OUT. More will be ready soon.
Before you come:
Cherry season runs through November and December, but exact opening dates depend on the weather. We announce them about a week in advance - keep an eye on our website and socials for updates.
Cherry availability can change daily due to weather or picking conditions. When fruit is limited, it’s first in, best dressed!

Groups of 20+ must book ahead.

No bookings needed for smaller groups.

Please check our opening hours before visiting — orchard entry closes one hour before the farm shop.

Dress for the weather: bring a hat, sunscreen, water, and wear comfortable closed-in shoes.

Prams are welcome, but orchard surfaces can be uneven making them difficult to push

Check the Orange weather forecast and your travel time before heading out - it can differ from where you live!
Your cherry picking experience
We recommend allowing 1–2 hours to make the most of your cherry picking experience — but there’s no time limit, so stay and enjoy as long as you like!

Our team will guide you to the ripest trees and show you how to pick correctly

No smoking in the orchard due to fire risk
