A fun and engaging art workshop for children aged 7 - 12years, using vibrant watercolours and mixed media techniques. Whether your child is a budding artist or simply loves to explore, this workshop offers the perfect balance of education, creativity and self-expression. Guided by an experienced instructor, children will create unique nature-inspired artwork to take home.

Hands on food activities for the budding cook in your family. You'll learn about what fruit is in season, then get hands on practicing waste minimization by preparing and drying fruit from the orchard. Take pre-dried fruit and turn it into yummy bliss balls.
Junior cooks take home what they make, along with full workshop notes, recipes and the confidence to dry fruits at home and turn them into amazing snacks.

Learn all the fundamentals of jam making. Put this all into practice when you get “hands on”, using fruit from the orchard to prepare and make a batch of yummy jam.
With the skills and knowledge gained from this class, you’ll be equipped to take advantage of the seasons and preserve fruits when they are fresh and plentiful.

& veg into amazing relishes, chutneys & sauces? With the skills and knowledge gained from this class, you’ll be equipped to make these tasty preserves for use throughout the year, or to give as beautiful gifts.
Learn all the fundamentals of preserving methods, then put them into practice when you get “hands on”, using ingredients from the orchard to prepare & make a batch of yummy relish or chutney.

Take a step behind the scenes with an immersive 1.5-hour walking tour through Hillside Harvest Orchard and Orange Mountain Estate vineyard.
Led by the orchardist and winemaker themselves, this casual stroll offers a rare opportunity to explore the land, ask
questions, and gain insight into the rich history and hands-on processes behind fruit growing and winemaking in the Orange region.

A PADDOCK, A PINOT AND A PAINTBRUSH
SATURDAY 21ST MARCH I 2PM - 4.30PM I $85
Experience the tranquillity of the countryside in our unique outdoor artist studio, surrounded by orchard views and Mt Canobolas. Enjoy a guided painting session with Kerrie Stewart, complemented by a glass of Orange Mountain Wine and a grazing table of local produce. As you create your masterpiece, learn about the latest wine harvest from Julie, with the option to add a cellar door tasting after the class. All materials provided.

A unique orchard lunch at Hillside Harvest. Enjoy a guided foraging tour, a three-course meal crafted from fresh local produce, all perfectly paired local wines and served among the apple trees.
Every course is a tribute to our orchard's fruits, the local harvest and the artistry of our local vignerons, connecting you to our family and our dedication to fresh, seasonal flavours.

CULLINARY CONNECTIONS

We invite you to celebrate the stories behind the dishes that bring people together, through the experiences of two local ladies. Through their heartfelt narratives, these remarkable ladies share their journey to Australia, the challenges, and the cherished traditions that define their culinary heritage. Included is a taster of each featured dish.
This event promises an evening of connection, culture, and the power of food to tell extraordinary stories.

HARVEST
FRIDAY 27th MARCH I 6PM - 9PM I $40
Join the Orange Mountain and Hillside Harvest families to celebrate vintage 2025. Gather your friends and family for live music in the Orchard.
Ticket includes a glass of Orange Mountain and a tasting table featuring Molly’s Grove products. Music from local musicians, relaxing or dancing under the festoon lights and stars, family games and a dessert from Hillside Harvests Orchard.
Purchase your dinner from a local pop up. Additional wine and beer can be purchased.
